Naga Chaitanya Telugu remake of Malayalam film ‘Premam’

 

Naga Chaitanya will star in the Telugu remake of Malayalam film ‘Premam’. The latest information suggests that the makers have finalized ‘Majnu’ as the title of this romantic drama. ‘Majnu’ was the title of Nagarjuna’s film, which was released in 1987.
To be directed by Chandoo Mondeti of ‘Karthikeya’ fame, this remake will feature Anupama Parameswaran, the girl who played one of the leads in the Malayalam original and Amyra Dastur of ‘Anekudu’ fame as two lead actresses. Makers are in discussions with Shruthi Haasan to rope her in to act as the main leading lady.

Chaitanya is currently shooting for Goutham Menon’s ‘Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo’. ‘Majnu’ will go on floors after the completion of this film, in November month.
